bottega louie macaroons
My first week in Los Angeles is officially coming to a close and I have spent the majority of it scouting out the best eateries from fancy gold decor-ed dining halls to markets and food stands. Eating at Bottega Louie has been my favorite by far, from its high ceilings and mouth-watering desserts that not only teases my taste buds but has me pulling out my planner and knocking off dates for a Parisian trip in the near future as well.

new york city film diary
One thing I love about traveling are the new faces you meet along the way. Making memories via 35 mm film on the other side of the country, which included but not limited to: stopping by all the flagship stores of my favorite brands, walking across the Brooklyn Bridge (though I have to note Golden Gate is rather more appealing), finally meeting the lady head behind the label, Uye Surana, after countless e-mails shared back and forth, attending Brahmin's Fall Fashion preview with Rachel, Empire State Building, trying out famed yummy desserts, Coney Island, visiting the Bollare showroom and meeting Kristen, standing in line for a Broadway show, lunching at cafes, making Starbucks our homebase, shopping at Beacon's Closet, Times Square at night and eating my first slice of New York pizza.
By the end of this trip, I was only reaffirmed of my desire to pack my bags and move to this city in 4 years time. But fret not, I'm looking forward to be back in less than two weeks for NYFW!

Day three in New York City. I wore this outfit out for brunch at a quaint little restaurant called Sarabeth's Kitchen. It had started to rain during the course of our meal so these snapshots were taken after waiting out the rain. Here I am making use of the tablet clutch that lucky little me got to bring back from Brahmin's Fall Fashion Preview event the night prior. I love the detailed texture this tablet clutch produces. On another note, I will soon be posting a photo diary of my east coast trip. So stay tuned! xo

en route to los angeles
If you've been following me on Twitter, you most likely have seen my latest tweet about my big move down south. Yes, I am moving down to Los Angeles from the San Francisco Bay Area. It's a big change, but considering I've moved five times in my lifetime, moving is no foreign concept to me. I'm the type of person that embraces change and new environments. This will be the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in my life and by no means am I settling. The next time I write will be from Southern California. Until then, bisous!

Wore this outfit out to meet my friend Monica, the beautiful lady behind the New York based independent label, Uye Surana, during my stay in The Big Apple. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw the mouth-watering veggie patty Mediterranean burger I had when we met up for brunch at Bare Burger. Photos taken post-brunch, believe me when I say that I was practically melting in these second skin jeans and tight-as-hell bustier in the New York humid heat.
