With plans to travel to Paris in the next year, I wore out a favorite look of mine that would probably be deemed the most Parisian look in my book. Classic breton stripes, 3 color palette, red beret, clean lines and romantic stockings - what more do I need than simple and chic?

Living life in a dream world. Looking at these photos makes me forget that I'm living in California for a few seconds while I create a mental picture of walking through a paradise garden in the heart of Spain. Here I'm wearing one of my favorite vintage finds: a satin cream corset. Wanting to stray away from the common corset and tutu h&m look, I chose one of my latest purchases, this dusty rose hued Mink Pink skirt with a gorgeous side slit. Somewhere between sultry siren and a hopeless romantic.

spring 2012 buying guide

For this year's upcoming Spring season, I can't wait to wear light angora sweaters, (more) pussybow blouses, belted (tweed) shorts and texturized skirts. Mixed in with a muted pale blue color, pressed purses and knee length tea dresses, and you've got my ideal spring rack on rotation. And as usual, I can't get enough of the muted soft color palette.

Hi Guys! Happy Valentine's day! 

First off, I want to say that although all the gushy and corny valentine card sayings and overabundance of sweets make me cringe with half disgust, half of me can't help but gush out an "Aww, how cute" to the Valentine's day shenanigans of my fellow friends and their significant others. As for my outfit, following my previous post, wearing pastel colors and floral prints honestly makes me think that Spring is closer than it feels.

At the moment, every fashion maven is buzzing over the NYFW F/W 12 shows and I too, am pining for New York winter and busy streets filled with sleek chic 'yorkers. But as I ooh and ahh over the new collections via online show streaming, I can't help but click back to S/S 12 and fall in love with everything that's to come this spring (once again).

Took these shots near the Fashion District in San Francisco. The day was bright and sunny out, so it was nice for a walk around the block. As for a little insight to my day to day activities, I have finally picked up reading again after a break from reading for self-indulgent purposes when I was too busy with school reading assignments. Currently, I am reading two novels - The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway and Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. Both stories take place during eras of time that truly fascinate me, the 1920s to 1960s.
