For me, nudes and  pinks will always be worn year round because 1) the saturations' ability to match a wide range of colors 2)  the heightening of femininity in any grungy/dark outfit and 3) the neutral palettes.

It's officially Fall season as of today, but with California still in its Indian Summer phase, I can't wait until the cool breezes start to roll in.

Favorite fall things: the September Issue, back to school reads, layers + knits, crisp cool weather, warm golden evenings, camel + olive and nude hues, printed pants and cherry red lips. So excited to bundle up in this season's excitement both in school and fashion.

nothing like good food and company to make me smile

Ocean Blue Sushi Club on a Tuesday night with my favorite girls. A nearly empty restaurant meant better service and no crowds. Sometimes good food and company is all you need to de-stress and de-tox. We spent the night chatting away about our senior year bucket lists and the effects of our generation's sliver of immaturity and shallowness. Of course, not going all philosophical on you, we went home with full and happy tummies.

Better late than never. I was and still am in love with Spanish Moss' lookbook, titled Rien que la Fille, which came out earlier this summer. Though excited for fall, I'm even more excited to incorporate and re-style summery pieces like these into my fall wardrobe.

Fall has always been my favorite season, prior to any knowledge of all fashion-related things to the yearly ten pound "September Issue." I've always enjoyed the slight autumn breezes on warm golden evenings and watching the leaves change color to the pumpkin and spices aromas that filled my favorite cafes. Already slowly making my transition via colors in my wardrobe for this year's seasonal cleansing and looking forward to the trail of holidays and events soon to follow. I'm excited to see new styling in the streetstyle blogs and make use of my closet-full of textured and patterned pieces.
