Having been fond of the denim trend since it made its comeback a couple collections ago, this is my take on the denim trend: denim on denim. Accented with red lip stain and gold jewels, this look easily became enlisted in my favorites category. I'm all for denim button-ups and surely in between this season of transit to fall, it will be my new wardrobe staple.

First day of school outfit! Fall knits and hues a.k.a me sweating bullets in stockings and a knit sweater by lunch... With the arrival of a new school semester signaling the Fall season and a turn of leaves, I am more than ready to embrace some nippy winds wrapped up in layers and chunky knits. But as usual, California hardly ever permits such weather until late November to early January. As much as I love summer and its frequent heatstroke inducing waves, I can't wait for a new season with a whole new dressing perspective. & now I'm pretty sure my stripes obsession is apparent...

Not too sure when I developed an unhealthy collection of striped shirts, nevertheless it's not just the whole nautical-mime-esque feel but the clean simplicity times chic look I love. Especially in black and white. I wore this outfit a couple days ago when I stopped for fro-yo at Juicy Berry at the Cherry Blossom Plaza with my sister. I now declare banana to be my new favorite flavor. As of today, I'm trying to enjoy the very last Sunday before school starts by making endless to-do lists (yes, there's something very satisfying about making lists) and stocking up on gel pens and reads for the year.

Hoping in two years' time I will be able to afford my own cozy white-walled-with-a-brick-fireplace apartment and live surrounded by small but lively displays of carefully selected and collected vintage and modern items proclaimed to be "furniture." the glitz and glam: 2b

On Thursday I took part in a blogger event at the 2b stores main office in Brisbane. I had lunch with the 2b team and a preview of their Fall and Holiday Collection which comes out in stores in a couple of months. There were also a couple styling sessions involved and moments where we had to half strangle the mannequins in order to put the clothes on. Meeting the 2b team members and shopping with them at the local 2b store was an amazing experience. I loved each and every one of the girls' sweet personalities and high energies. My favorite part of the day was definitely seeing all the passion and love that revolved around 2b and its growth as a company and business.

My weekend in Tahoe led to two nights in this beautiful Paris themed decor home, and the artworks were just beautiful. Spent some valued family time and ate at The Soule Domain, where I had escargot for the first time. The lake waters were the bluest, unfortunately no photos, and board games at night were quite entertaining.
