As the title of this post clearly states, I'm in the mood for a creamy nude day. Translated into this clean-cut neutral toned outfit reminisce of Chloe SS2011 and Celine SS2010, I hope my inspiration is clear. Of course, I topped it off with my usual bright orange accents in lipstick and lacquer. Oh, and this might be the first time I've shown my hair up in a bun. With the summer heat, it's hard to let hair down for long.

Wearing this outfit makes me want to go to Paris. I think stripes will always connect my thoughts to all things Parisian. Then again, Paris is known for their sleek and chic looks. Don't you agree? xoxo.

I had The Great Gatsby movie starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Carey Mulligan to come out in 2012 in mind when styling and wearing this outfit. Wanted to capture the essence of the 'Roaring Twenties' in this beautiful shapeless shift dress from StyleSofia with exposed limbs and finished off with a floppy sunhat. I guess my new short hair also did some justice to this look. I had worn this out during the early afternoon for a hangout session with a friend I had not seen in two weeks. Later, went over to another friend's house to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's. I felt like I was hopping from era to era in a stylish manner. Also, I was finally able to channel the all white look I had inspired about here.

I think I'm in love. I'm unsure how to express in an accurate manner of how much I'm inspired by the structured sillouettes to the 70s inspired color palettes to the slicked back hair. Also, I wish I knew more persons of the opposite sex who dressed in such a timely and classy style. Did I mention how much I love the color palettes here?

Donning red white and black, one of the most minimal color palettes out there. To be honest, this outfit is as minimal as I can get seeing that I'm not wearing any jewelry, which I usually pile on on a regular basis. This striped dolman top by Vince exudes comfort at a whole different level - the thin knitted material  and loose fit to the level of sotftness is extremely adequate on my standards for satisfactory relaxing.

This is what I wore out on a sushi date with two friends. This mustard circle skirt is one of my favorites, but realized I rarely wear it out after finding it in the black hole that is my closet. Thus leading to some changes. Speaking of changes, this is my new hair. It's short and blunt and I adore it! Definitely lessened the hair maintenance for summer, not that I ever kept my hair at high maintenance anyway. I'm still a lover of muted neutral tones with the current summer brights season, and you'll definitely see a lot more coming your way.
