I kept a simple yet classy look for a quick ice-cream bite with the best f. This time I tried a toffee and choco chip halfed with double expresso cone; it was the best remedy for my sweet tooth. I've also taken up reading again. Having been the biggest bookworm ever before boring high school assigned readings took place, apart from a couple existentialism novels from this year: I'm a sucker for mystery, romance and fiction novels as well as any sort of obsure tale that exists.

Lately, well - more like the past few months in which the following images above accumulated on my desktop, I've been seriously inspired by some white on white shades. Something about it, not matter how provocative the styling may seem, emanates a pure angelic look that I really love. I hope to channel that real soon.

I've noticed a pattern: I'm starting to spend my Saturday mornings at various market places and the feeling's great. This time I went to a farmers' market in downtown with Yani and we immediately made a beeline for the crepes stand, mixed fruits and creme is delicious. All the fresh fruits and flower bouquets you wouln't be able to find at Safeway are my favorite parts of a farmers' market, everything feels so natural to me. And let's not forget the samples!

This outfit doesn't exactly scream summer, but I'm completely and utterly in love with this black on floral combination. I love this black velvet blazer that I recieved from Style Sofia, not only for its strong shoulders but for its gold thread detailing along the edges as well. I'm a sucker for all sorts of cuts and small details, and this floral top is no exception. It gets bonus points because of its gorgeous floral print, haha. Six days into summer and I can already feel the need to cross off the bajillion things I've listed on my 'Summer To-do' list. Sometimes it gets to the point of absurdity with my tendency for listing just about everything and anything. And this entails endless consumption of Kern's mango nectar juice.

Spent my Saturday afternoon browsing through fresh fruits and veggies at a local market with my sister. I wore out my favorite leopard print top paired with my new pair of second skin jeans. I think this may be the first time that I've posted me wearing jeans. There was a period of time where I refused to wear jeans because shorts and skirts were my craze and jeans were too much of a hassle to put on in the morning, considering I only owned skin tight jeans and I was always late to first period. Just keepin' it casual.

Sun shining, afternoon strolling and my favorite Thai dish equals my happy list. I'm wearing my lovely crochet singlet which I found in a vintage shop a couple months ago, but forgot in the depths of my closet until recently. Very much into the whole all neutral with tints of gold and camel and other spots of color as of late. It blends perfectly with the bright sun rays and I'm lovin' it. Hope everyone's having a lovely week so far.

The sun finally decided to peek its rays today and I just couldn't get enough of it. This is my first outfit post where I am wearing items that I won from Style Sofia's wardrobe rehaul contest they held a month ago. The prize was $250 worth of Style Sofia items and a pair of Kayu sunnies worth $180. I was ecstatic upon being pronounced as the winner, since Style Sofia has become one of my retail therapy go-to online shops. I pulled together this outfit a la summer basics, but also what's been floating around everyone's closets: loose top, midi skirt and a floppy hat. Pretty much as basic as you can get, but it never gets old.

BFD 2011

BFD 2011 with my bestie, Yanitsa! The Strokes, Linkin Park, Cage the Elephant and Snoop Dog live, two bags of kettle popcorn enough to last me a day, $5 delicious hot chocolate, overcast day, and dancing in five inch wedges on a sloped lawn.

Highlight of my day/night: Julian Casablancas and his lime green shoes.
