There's something about colorful furry objects (no offense, PETA) and shiny metal duplications of great bird talons that really appeal to me. This is a small compilation of some of items that I really wish I could get my hands on for the summer days that are just around the bend. The Senso lace up platform heels carry the much desired block heel of the season with a lace up eyelet side that allows some surface area of exposed foot, perfect. And those sequin shorts are just too good to pass up. As for the dresses, they have the exact amount of flowy and cinched-at-the-waist look that I love.

All shades of cream and white for the summer. I'm a lover for beautifully laid out neutral palettes and this one is the apple of my eye at the moment. I think it's clear that my affinity for polka dots and spots have made my nails no exception. I had so much fun painting them! On that note, it's time to go finish up the Editorial for my school newspaper's last issue for the school year. Happy Sunday, darlings!

With the weird bipolar Cali weather, from cold breezes and cloudy mornings to sunny stuffy late afternoons, it's difficult to decide what is weather appropriate attire. I opted to keep warm on top with a light knit cardigan over a Free People dress tucked into denim lace ups with a high waisted fit to keep it cool in the afternoon. When comfort calls, I love wearing slouchy knits, especially thick woven ones, over anything. Having just finished my last choir concert for the year, it's time to unwind and catch some z's before school tomorrow. Peace out, bloggerettes xx

California days are becoming heating up with high sun rays and I'm soaking it all up. Since I like to keep it casual at school, I'm usually always wearing flats. So, I guess I'll be expecting a flat tan soon. Anyway, olive is one of my favorite color hues, and the best shade of green in my opinion, but not only because it contrasts well with my jet-black hair and Asian yellow skin. Also, note strategically placed bag to prevent up-skirt incidents.

I guess you can say that junior year took its toll on me, or maybe just life in general. To be honest, I've definitely matured a lot in the past year. I guess when you have to deal with torn friendships, family problems, teen angst, and school, you're in a situation where you're forced to grow up a bit and see things in a new light. You have to learn who you can or can't trust and to accept the things that you can't change. Things aren't always what they seem, and the same goes for people. But enough of my moody chatter. This BCBG leather bag has been glued to my arm ever since I got it and I don't think it'll be parting just yet. And these leather shorts are seriously the best pair of shorts I've gotten in a long while. One reason being that it's leather, the second for its lace-up high waisted fit.
